Why I keep showing up for the startup community

The people building things are rarely working in isolation. They are finding co-founders, testing ideas with strangers, asking better questions, and making room for someone else’s perspective.

That is what keeps bringing me back to the startup community. Startup Weekend gave me a place to take ideas seriously before they were ready. Startup Wednesday is an attempt to make that feeling more regular: a low-pressure room where people can meet, learn, and start moving.

The work is not only about the companies that come out of these events. It is about the confidence people gain, the relationships that last, and the next idea that becomes possible because someone showed up.
